Richie Jen will be releasing his eighteenth album on the 6th titled “不信邪” (roughly translates to Fear Nothing). He held a press conference at a scenic restaurant located at Victoria Peak (The Peak) in Hong Kong. Ever since he filmed a movie directed by Johnnie To back in 2005, Hong Kong has become his second home; even his children are schooled there. When asked when he will give his wife Tina a dream wedding, he answered, “I want to be like Tony Leung (Chiu-Wai) and invite my family and friends to a wedding overseas.”
Pop-rock band Magic Power has been accompanying the veteran singer on his concert tours for half a year. The members especially arrived in Hong Kong early to help set up the press conference. To repay their hard work, Richie treated the members to a meal at “Kau Kee Restaurant”, which is famous for their beef brisket noodles. The restaurant also generously served them their limited quantity “Beef and Soup”.
Richie and Tina both love to eat and they have tried many rated restaurants from the Michelin Guide. They once spent $8,000 HKD (~ $32,000 TWD) on a dinner.
Richie's album is now available for preorder at YesAsia!
