Following the release of his new and best selections album, Leehom Wang held a press conference yesterday to announce his “Open Fire” concert world tour; there will be two shows taking place on November 25th and 26th at the Taipei Arena. Leehom’s newly established company, 宏聲娛樂, will be organizing the concert, and he will also be designing the content for the show. Nonetheless, Sony Music Taiwan will still be listed as an organizer for the Taipei shows.
Leehom personally found his own sponsors. He announced that he is Intel's new spokesperson, who will be sponsoring his concert and they presented him with Acer’s new Ultrabook at the press con. However, the media pointed out that Leehom is a Mac user, which is a competing brand for Ultrabook. Leehom timidly explained that Mac books also use Intel and that he will use each product at their appropriate times.
As the boss of his new company, Leehom was so nervous that he actually announced the wrong dates for his concert; he told the media that it would be on October 25 instead of November 25. Sony Music also mistakenly said that tickets would be on sale at 12am instead of 12pm.
Leehom will be touring at fifty different cities, and the first show will take place on November 5th at Shanghai.
Leehom’s new and best selections album is now available for preorder at YesAsia!
