Eason Chan, Jay Chou, Sodagreen, and Ke Zhen-Dong will all be releasing their albums on November 11th. The former Golden Melody Award winner Eason’s new Mandarin album will be titled, “?” Although he is a Hong Kong pop singer, he has always put a lot of effort on his Mandarin albums. He will be holding two mini concert events in Taiwan on the 12th and 19th.
Since it’s Jay’s eleventh anniversary in Showbiz and it is his eleventh album, he has chosen to release it on November 11th (!!). Although both him and Eason are using punctuation marks for their album titles, JVR Music expressed that they did not know that Eason’s album title would be, “?” Jay will be holding signing and mini concert events on the 26th and 27th.
Sodagreen’s new album will be titled, “What Is Troubling You”. Despite they haven’t officially promoted their new singles, “The Limit of Happiness” and “Enjoy Loneliness”, both of them have already reached over two million hits on YouTube. They expressed that they will be trying a new method in promoting their new album.
The breakout star of this summer’s blockbuster hit movie “You Are The Apple of My Eye”, Ke Zhen-Dong will be up against the veteran soloists and groups. The audience has already gotten to hear him sing “寂寞的咖啡因” (Lonely Caffine), which was part of the OST, and many praised his low to mid-range vocals. Without much music and/or vocal training, he is still “developing his confidence,” so producer Xue Zhong-Ming mainly focused on his unique characteristics for the album. However, his record company does not plan to go big with promotions; the album will not be available for preorder and even the album title is kept in secrecy until release.
