Avex Taiwan shifting focus to promoting music groups roomie and dance flow

Following July releases by fellow soloist labelmates A-Lin and Shin, Avex Taiwan is shifting more of their energies this month to promoting recently transformed sophomore co-ed group dance flow and incoming freshman girl group roomie. The new promotion runs for both music groups marks the latest efforts by the Japanese-based mega-music label to successfully co-exist pop-style music groups into Taiwan’s soloist-dominated music arena.

Despite initial success by dancers-turned-music artists dance flow during their freshman run as an eight-member group, the group experienced a surprising cut of four of their members less than a year after their debut. On the other hand, newest member of the Avex Taiwan family roomie marks renewed attempts by music labels to break a new generation of homegrown girl groups into the Taiwanese entertainment market.  The music label is gearing to bring a Mandopop counterpart to their popular Korean girl group f(x), whom are also managed by Avex Taiwan for the Taiwanese music market.
