It’s been four years since Stefanie Sun (Yanzi) has released an album, and after just a few days of preorder, it has already exceeded expectations. The thirty thousand preorder gifts that were prepared have been completely sold out. Thus, in order to make sure that the fans can get their CD and preorder gift at the same time, Stefanie’s record company has decided to push the original release date from March 1st to March 8th.
Stefanie was already in Taiwan on February 10th to film the MV for her latest single, "當冬日漸暖" (When the Wintry Night Gets Warm - according to yesasia), as well as to begin her album promotions. She went to the recording of veteran host Chang Hsiao-Yen’s talk show and Chang Hsiao-Yen revealed that she received a text message from the songstress asking her to star in the MV. Chang Hsiao-Yen rejected the offer after considering how long she has not done any acting, but Stefanie said, “You don’t know how much time it took me to finally have the courage to send you the text message. I really wanted you to be in it (MV).”
Stefanie explained that she wanted to portray the story of a woman who had been through and experienced many things. However, Chang Hsiao-Yen humorously said that upon reading the word “experienced” in the message, she couldn’t help but keep looking at herself in the mirror and stare at her winkles that day. Chang Hsiao-Yen later suggested Stefanie to ask Sylvia Chang to be in the MV instead, "You're not the first to ask me (to act). Earlier, Sylvia also asked me to, but she wanted me to act as an 80 year old grandmother. I didn't want to do it after hearing that it's a 'grandmother' role."
