Channel-X changes production team in hope for better ratings

As we’ve reported in our weekly ratings posts, SETTV/TTV’s “Channel-X” has been suffering with low ratings and falling behind GTV’s “Love Buffet” for 4 consecutive weeks. Thus, SETTV has decided switch its current production team.

“Channel-X’s” production team confirmed the news on Facebook just two days ago, where they wrote, “Our screenplay for Channel-X will end on February 20th, episode 12, and the TV network’s screenwriters will be taking over from then on! To our lighting men, editors, assistant director, and cameramen, although you all will be leaving as well, you will forever be our greatest working partners. We will work hard again on our next project!”

Many fans sent their best wishes to the team and some felt that the decision was unfair. Other viewers also expressed on the official forums that there have already been improvements in the plot. However, due to the drama’s inability to obtain higher ratings (averaging around 1%), there have been rumors of the production crew halting its filming. And now just after the New Year, news of changing the production team broke out; the network emphasized that the decision made is all for the good of the drama.
