Show Luo reveals obsession over Sun Yanzi's toes

Show Luo performed in the first of three sold out shows at the Hong Kong coliseum yesterday. He pulled out every trick in his bag to wow his fangirls and they sure weren’t disappointed. The concert included a dance medley in which he channeled top female stars like A-Mei Chang, ELVA Hsiao and Jolin Tsai. He put in an extra amount of effort during “Dancing Diva”, as he flung his head and twisted his butt.

Stefanie Sun Yanzi was his special guest of the night. Show Luo complimented that she looks great in her light make-up, and also revealed his obsession over her toes. He looked at them and said, “It was love at first sight between us. Hello, long time no see!” Needless to say, Sun Yanzi was embarrassed.

Show Luo said he was thrilled to take the stage at the HK coliseum. When his family photos were shown on the big screen, he cried as they reminded him of his late father: “This clip wasn’t filmed by me. Someone sent it to my home one day. I caught it unintentionally, and felt my dad has reappeared in front of me.” The show didn’t end until 11 pm after two encores, but fans still refused to leave. Show Luo changed into his casual clothes and had to return to stage. He sang half a song without music and said, “You should be going home now. I have to sleep too. I’m not Eason Chan!”

Ang Lee and Tang Wei rumored to be making Teresa Teng biopic

It will be 15 years since of the death of legendary singer Teresa Teng on May 8th.  Her life has always been a subject of interest for filmmakers, but the Teng family has never given their permission to put her story on the big screen. According to rumors, they have finally authorized her biopic to be directed by Ang Lee and starring actress Tang Wei.

Teresa Teng was one first Taiwanese singer that rose to immense popularity in the mainland. After her death in 1995, many in the Chinese entertainment industry paid their tribute to her in their own ways. Faye Wong released an album with remakes of her songs, while director Peter Chan's movie Almost a Love Story included her death in the storyline.

Director Ang Lee is set to make the movie Life of Pi this fall and will be tied down with post-production/promotions next year. Despite potential scheduling problems, investors of the Teresa Teng biopic are willing to wait for the Ang Lee/Tang Wei combo. The Teng family is said to be satisfied with the choice of Tang Wei as the lead, because her temperament and the shape of her face resemble Teresa Teng's.

In response to the rumor, Tang Wei's manager denied that she has been contacted by the production.  The actress made her breakthrough with 2007's Lust Caution but was eventually banned in the mainland due to her role in the movie. She recently made a comeback with the film Crossing Hennessy and will next be seen in Late Autumn with Hyun Bin.

Vivian Hsu in love with a younger man for new movie

Yesterday, the filming for the third story in the 3-parted film, Juliet, began. This third part of the film stars Vivian Hsu and Wang Po-Chieh in a touching yet tabooed “sister-brother” relationship. (while a “sister-brother” relationship usually describes an older woman dating a younger man, at this point, we’re not quite sure what the taboo is… could it be that they’re real siblings? Siblings by marriage?..)

For the movie, Vivian breaks away from her usual prettiness and cuteness image. In Juliet, she plays a character that has been diagnosed with polio, needing to rely on a walking stick. For the role, she films without putting on any makeup and in order to make her need for a walking stick believable, she practiced hard and even gained several bruises on her legs. Vivian admits that she feels great pressure for the role and director Hou Ji-Ran  praises, “Even during the audition, she always strives to do her best.” As for whether there would be a possible nomination for Vivian, the director did not make any promises.

Wang Po-Chieh, who has previously won the best newcomer award at the Taipei Film Festival, will be playing a university student set in the 70’s.

After her appearance at an event in Shanghai, the Taiwanese pop princess's ample assets have come under scrutiny again as it appeared shrunken and smaller.

They look the same, don't they? =/

Jolin Tsai's heaving "G-cup" chest has come under the spotlight after it appeared visibly shrunken and smaller at a performance on Saturday.

In response to the alleged news reports of her deflated bust size, Jolin indirectly admitted that her chest was a product of man-made measures when she refuted, "That's because I didn't stuff anything! I want to dance, that's why I didn't want to stuff anything."

While performing at the Taiwan Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai, Jolin wore a sparkly spaghetti strap stop and a mini ruffled skirt. Trying to fend off the reporter's questions on her assets at a press conference, the 29-year-old laughingly asked, "Why is everyone paying attention to this?"

Jolin was not her well-endowed in the past as she is today. When she debut in 1999, the Golden Melody award-winning singer was marketed as a "sweet young thing", and targeted for the male audience.

After shedding off her boring image and started her sexy makeover in 72 Changes. In 2004, she showed off her new voluptuous figure and newfound ample assets at a Shanghai concert, sparking a media circus on her G-cups.

Will Pan decorates his room with luxury mineral water

From the pictures of his home that Will Pan recently posted on Facebook, sharp-eyed netizens quickly noticed 4 very interesting bottles of water in the corner of the room. He revealed that the bottles hold underground water taken from 800m below Kobe, Japan, and each bottle was decorated with 200 Swarovski crystals: “(I) purchased through a friend back in 2009. 8 bottles were bought at the time, each bottle cost about $100 USD.”

Will Pan’s career went to new heights last year after his concert at the Taipei Arena. He filmed 5 commercials and completed 12 concert performances last year. Although Jacky Chan and Jay Chou were the ones that top the Forbes Chinese celebrity list, Will Pan raised a few eyebrows as he “quietly” made 140 million (NTD) in 2009.  His paycheck should be more than enough to cover the “water”, but his luxurious decoration still shocked many netizens. His manager explained, “Will Pan is usually very frugal, but he bought it because he admired the designer very much.”

Her school performance originally scheduled for the 29th was canceled, as well as recording sessions that were to take place later this week. She is expected to make her return on the 14th of next month in a Teresa Teng memorial concert in the mainland. As for Taiwan, she will be performing as the final guest at a concert organized by Youtube on the 22nd.
