Mandopop artists Joe Cheng, Michael Wong, Jane Zhang at G20 Concert

In a recent major charity conference featuring artists from all over East Asia, the G20 Concert included a trio of some of Mandopop's most famous entertainers: Taiwan's famous idol celebrity Joe Cheng, Malaysia's legendary ballad specialist Michael Wong, and China's talent show contestant-turned-singing sensation Jane Zhang. Each of the three singers performed their trademark songs in front of a dominantly South Korean audience, as Joe performed his audience-friendly dance tune "Sing a Song", Michael gave an encore of his popular karaoke ballad "Fairy Tale", and Jane let loose her vocals for R&B song "To Be Loved".

For the popular Taiwanese actor of idol drama "It Started with a Kiss" fame who relatively recently added singing to his repertoire, Joe had a busy schedule that involved a direct flight in the middle of the nigh to Seoul after doing promotions in Shanghai. Since landing in Seoul, the Taiwanese idol went through a gauntlet of interviews with the media and rehearsals to prepare for his performance. The G20 Concert, which was held in Seoul's Olympic Stadium, gathered tens of thousands of concertgoers that caused the veteran entertainer to feel nervous in front of such a large crowd. Nonetheless, the experience brought the best out of him as his reaction to his situation can be described in one word by him: "Cool!"
