Kenji Wu tops both sales and singles charts

After two years since his last album, Kenji Wu releases his latest full album, “Love Me, Hate Me”, overtaking the top spot on both G-Music and Five Music album sales chart. Even his latest single, “It’s Alright”, is number one on KKBOX’s singles chart.

Kenji revealed that the past two years mark the low point of his career. He had been inactive due to his back injury, so he didn’t get much exposure. Thus, he wrote “It’s Alright” to encourage himself. However, the song has been modified to talk about the feeling of losing one’s love because after all, love songs are Kenji’s forte.
