Korean Newcomers ZE:A Will Visit Taiwan

South Korean 9-member boyband ZE:A (also known as Child of Empire), who have been compared to SS501 and FT Island, has only debuted for less than 100 days and yet has already garnered 10,000 fans in Korea. Soon, they will begin their march into the Taiwan market.

Siwan, Kevin, Kwanghee, Junyoung, Taehun, Heechul, Minwoo, Hyungshik, and Dongjun make up the group whose average age is only 20 years old. They are highly trained in their skills which include all-around talent in singing, rapping, and dancing.

Interestingly enough, some of the members already have star faces. Dongjun is said to resemble Korean Actress Han Ga In. And Junyoung has a similar temperament to DBSK’s YunHo. Although the newcomers have just debuted, they have already received immense popularity in Japan. For their first fan meeting in Japan held last March, thousands of tickets sold out in only a few hours.

In Taiwan, ZE:A has teamed up with Warner Music to create an “Official Interactive Chinese Website” for the group at http://zea-chinese.com/ and on May 11, ZE:A’s latest mini album, “Leap for Detonation”, will be released in Taiwan. There will be two different versions of which each will have a poster, a luxury photo book, DVD, and other fan merchandise.
