Mo Fan promises to jump into the sea for Lollipop

Just this past weekend, Lollipop went to challenge the stage on One Million Singer. The six-member group split into two groups of three (probably in order to earn a bit more money). As host Harlem Yu made fun of William’s inability to sing in tune, respectable and veteran musician, Mo Fan, also doubted the group’s knowledge in songs.

On the fourth round, members William, Prince, and Lil Jay (Xiao Jie) chose to sing Richie Ren’s classic hit "傷心太平洋" (lit.Heartbroken Pacific). The music stopped during the chorus, leaving them sixteen blanks to fill. They used their final remaining “lifeline” – one-word hint, as they struggled to come up with any lyrics to fill in the blanks. Proving that “three-heads” are better than one, they came up with the rather unbelievably tongue-twisting answer, “Loneliness silently and gradually drown and drown into the sea Even if the future is gone I’m still here.” At that point, veteran singer Mo Fan interrupted, “If that answer is right, I’ll jump into the sea!” Without much choice, the three Lollipop members confirmed their answer…

During their appearance, Lollipop also got to sing their hit song, “7-color lollipop,” together as group. Interestingly, they almost forgot the lyrics to their own song…
