The two stars were made famous by their respective SETTV dramas, but as their contracts have expired, fans might soon be seeing a lot more them on other networks. Ming Dao’s mainland drama Happy & Love Forever will air on CTV after Down With Love finishes its run. As for Chen Qiao En, she is rumored to be starring in an upcoming GTV drama. Although Ming Dao has been busy working on his dramas and movie, he did get to take some time off for a vacation in Europe with his friends. They traveled o London, Paris, Monaco, as well as a ski trip in the Alps. He turned down 2 endorsement offers in order to make the trip, which apparently cost over NT$600,000.
Joe Chen Qiao En is in talks to star in a GTV drama with the other Joe, Joe Cheng that is. Chen Qiao En previously set ratings records with SETTV dramas like Prince Turns to Frog and Fated to Love You. She said at an event last week that she would like to return to acting again. The producer of her rumored-drama (which roughly translates to) I Love Cha Mei Le won’t confirm if the news is true yet. The story will be an adaptation of the novel A King’s Love Song.
